At iScoot, we offer pre-orders on select products to ensure our customers can secure the latest and most in-demand items before they arrive in stock. Please read the following terms carefully before placing a pre-order.
1. What is a Pre-Order?
A pre-order allows you to purchase a product before it arrives at our warehouse. This ensures you secure the item before it sells out.
2. Payment for Pre-Orders
For selected products, you can place a pre-order with a 50% deposit. The remaining balance will be requested near the estimated time of arrival (ETA). If the ETA is delayed, the remaining payment will still be requested based on the original ETA at the time of ordering.
A full payment is required before we can ship the item.
3. Estimated Delivery Time
Estimated arrival times for pre-ordered products are provided on the product page. These are based on supplier estimates and may be subject to change due to factors beyond our control, such as production or shipping delays.
4. Delays & Updates
If there are any changes to the expected arrival time, we will notify you via email. Delays can occur due to factors such as supplier schedules, global shipping conditions, or high demand. If a shipment is delayed, we will communicate clearly as the information comes in.
5. Unit Allocation & Payment Deadlines
Pre-order units are allocated in the order they are placed, meaning the oldest orders are fulfilled first.
While the pre-order guarantees stock for your order, If the remaining payment is not completed within 5 business days of the payment request, your unit will be allocated to the next order in the queue.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
- All Pre-Orders are considered final at the time of purchase. By placing a Pre-Order, you acknowledge and agree that your order is reserved specifically for you and that inventory and logistics are allocated accordingly. For this reason, Pre-Orders are not eligible for a full refund.
- Should you decide to cancel your Pre-Order for any reason, a restocking fee of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total order value will be deducted from your refund. This fee covers administrative, processing, and inventory allocation costs incurred during the pre-order period.
- We encourage customers to carefully review their selections before completing a Pre-Order, as this policy ensures fairness and helps us maintain efficient operations for all customers.
- Once your order has been shipped, our standard return policy applies.
7. Combining Pre-Orders with In-Stock Items
If your order contains both pre-order and in-stock items:
- Accessories and Parts may be held and shipped together with the pre-ordered item.
- Scooters or bikes can be shipped separately.
Free items included in pre-order promotions will only be shipped when the pre-ordered item arrives.
We recommend placing separate orders. Alternatively, you can request shipping for in-stock items, but additional shipping fees may apply.
8. Price Changes
Once you place a pre-order, the price is locked in. If the price increases, your confirmed price remains unchanged. If the price decreases before your order is fulfilled, we will adjust it to match the lower price.
