Types of e-bikes we have on offer

We offer three main types of e-bikes for you to choose from, and the one you choose will depend on what you want to use it for. Let's take a look at what we offer so you can make the best decision for you:

Electric mountain bikes

If you already love exploring off-road trails on your push bike but want to explore more difficult terrains and longer distances, an electric mountain bike might be the perfect option for you. Our electric mountain bikes come with powerful motors to assist with pedalling so you can enjoy your rides more without getting so fatigued. Have you been eyeing up a particular mountain trail that your push bike simply won't survive? Then now might be the perfect time to invest in a new electric mountain bike!

Fat Tyre electric bikes

Fat tyre bikes have thicker wheels, typically over 4 inches wide. These are excellent for use on a more versatile range of terrains with better comfort, and the electric assistance from the motor gives you more freedom to enjoy your ride rather than pushing the fat tyres ahead. Fat tyre bikes can be heavier and therefore more difficult to pedal, so many prefer the electric assistance to improve their overall ride.

Folding electric bikes

Folding electric bikes give you the best of both worlds - the freedom of cycling whenever you want with the help of an electrical motor, but with the convenience of a foldable frame. These bikes are perfect for commuting and storing your bike during the work day, as they're much more portable and easier to manage than other electric bikes on the market! If you're looking for an electric bike but are worried about how much space it's going to take up, our selection of folding e-bikes could be the ideal solution for you.

What are the electric bicycle laws in Brisbane?

When deciding whether an electric bike is the right choice for you, you need to be aware of the rules your location has for riding. Here are the laws Brisbane has set regarding e-bike riding:

  • You are able to ride an electric bike on all Queensland roads and paths, except where bicycles are prohibited. Your rights and responsibilities when riding are the same as all other road users.

  • You don't need to obtain a licence before riding an electric bike and you are under no obligation to register the e-bike or insure it.

  • To ride on the road legally, your bike's motor must cut out at 25 km/h so you do not reach higher speeds than this unless you are pedalling.
