iScoot's Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty covers all manufacturing faults, defects in material and workmanship of the Product arising or occurring as a result of your normal and ordinary use of the Product. In the event a defect covered by this Limited Warranty occurs, iScoot will repair or replace your Product in accordance with the terms of this Limited Warranty (if a repair is not possible).

The applicable period for the Limited Warranty begins from the purchase date of the product from iScoot. The Warranty does not apply if the Scooter is being used as a courier vehicle (e.g. Uber Eats, Deliveroo, etc). This warranty is not transferrable if the unit is sold to a third party. 

Ex-Demo and Refurbished Electric Scooters have a Limited Warranty Period of 12 weeks only and do not qualify for Change of Mind Returns.

NEW WARRANTY PERIOD*

From September 1st 2023, the Warranty Periods below will be superseded by iScoot's New Limited Warranty Period:

12 months/1000km across all components including Vehicle Body, Electrical and Battery. Australia's only 12-month Warranty.

  • Handlebar Folding mechanism

  • Bottom Cover (Metal)
  • Kickstand
Electrical Components: 120 days
  • Battery Charger
  • Front Wheel and Hub Motor Assembly
  • Dashboard
  • Charge Port
  • Control Board Assembly
  • Electronic Throttle
  • Electronic Brake
  • Headlight Rear lights
  • Deck lights
Battery: 6 months

What we don't cover: 

  • Any modifications done to an iScoot eScooter void this warranty unless they are done by an iScoot Mechanical Technician
  • Damage or Failure due to misuse (e.g. freestyle activities)
  • Damage caused by product misuse or abuse like (but not limited to) dropping, collision, jumps, grinding, heavy shaking, abrasion or bad storage
  • Damage caused by failure to service or maintain products as per your iScoot Service Plan
  • Damage caused from water ingress - your scooter is not waterproof from rain or ground matter
  • Damage caused by incorrect fitment, installation or assembly
  • Wear-and-tear damage of components such as wheels, tyres, lights or other consumables
  • When the product or any of its components have been opened, altered or modified by someone other than the manufacturer or authorised repair centre
  • People who are not the Original Purchaser as listed on the Receipt
  • Any fault where the warranty period has expired from the Date of Receipt 
  • When the warranty or serial label is altered or removed
  • Damage caused by overloading, over the designed maximum load
  • Moisture or humidity conditions, including staying in close proximity to the sea over time, which will cause damage to the battery and electric system
  • High temperature conditions, including locking the battery in a car under excessive temperature conditions
  • Tyres, tubes, brake, handlebar grips, decals and board tape/grip board are not covered under warranty as they are considered wear and tear items
  • Freight is not covered nor refundable under warranty
  • Warranty void if recommended iScoot Servicing Schedule isn't adhered to. 

3.2.1 EXTENDED WARRANTY
