INSURANCE POLICY

Valid for orders placed from 1st November of 2024

POLICY OVERVIEW

At iScoot we are committed to ensuring the satisfaction and peace of mind of our customers.

As part of our dedication to exceptional customer service, we offer comprehensive protection insurance in case of theft for electric scooters, bikes, and motorbikes purchased from our store, valued at $999 or above. This includes any accessories on the ride at the time of the theft, as long as they were purchased from iScoot.

ELEGIBILITY

To be eligible for the theft insurance, the following criteria must be met: 

  • The electric scooter, bike or motorbike must have been purchased directly from iScoot in the last 36 months
  • The retail value of the electric scooter, bike or motorbike at the time of purchase must be $999 or above. 
  • The customer must provide a valid police report documenting the theft of the ride. 
  • The customer must register the electric scooter, bike, or motorbike through iWarranty portal.

REPLACEMENT PROCESS

The customer must follow these steps to initiate the replacement process:

REPORT THE THEFT

The customer must report the theft to the local police and obtain a report detailing the incident.

Submit a Claim

The customer must submit a theft claim to iScoot within 30 days of the theft, including all required documentation.

Claim Review

Customer service team will review the documentation to verify eligibility. This may take up to 3 business days.

Approval

If the claim is approved, iScoot will provide an equivalent model at cost. Shipping fees may apply.

What documents are needed to sumbit a claim?

The customer must submit a theft claim to iScoot within 30 days of the theft, and it must include: 

  • The purchase information from iScoot. 
  • A copy of the police report documenting the theft. 
  • A completed theft Claim Form for Theft.
  • The registration of the electric scooter, bike, or motorbike through iWarranty portal.

Exclusions and Limitations

This policy does not cover: 

  • Loss or damage due to any cause other than theft. 
  • Electric scooters, bikes, or motorbikes with a retail value of less than $999. 
  • Electric scooters, bikes, or motorbikes not purchased directly from iScoot. 
  • Claims submitted more than 30 days after the theft. 
  • Shipping fees that apply. An invoice will be generated and must be paid before the product being dispatched.

Policy Amendments

iScoot reserves the right to amend or terminate this policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated to our customers through our official communication channels.
